Our foundation is based upon providing guests a high quality product quickly, friendly and efficiently in an enjoyable atmosphere; knowing that can only occur when we provide our team proper training and a positive working environment.
About Pen-Mart
Pen-Mart, and it’s sister company Pen-Company Oil Company, was founded in 1944 by J. Harry May. It’s still run by Jay May, Eric May and Heather Bower. Although, the organization has grown to cover other businesses and hundreds of employees throughout Pennsylvania, it is still run like a small family owned business. Many employees stay for years, including Wally Grohowski who’s been with the May’s for over 50 years!
Jay’s Famous
Operating under Pen-Mart is Jay’s Famous Roast Pork and Beef. At Jay’s Famous, we work closely with the best suppliers in the industry to ensure that the products we use exceeds the quality standards that Executive Chef Jake Hizny, CEC demands. Chef Hizny utilizes his 30+ years of culinary experience by hand selecting the freshest USDA graded Pork, Beef and Poultry to achieve superior tenderness, mouthwatering juiciness and exceptional rich flavor. At Jay’s Famous we work hard every day to ensure that only the best meats make it into your sandwich. You’ll taste the difference when you bite into it.
